About the role#
As an Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and certification of safety-critical products for aerospace, industrial, and automotive customers. You will work alongside system architects and product management to build features for VxWorks and HVP platforms, supporting the next generation of applications on hardware such as ARM and IA.
What you'll do#
- Develop software modules for VxWorks and HVP.
- Fix defects and contribute to the creation of certification artifacts.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to implement requested features.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing features and development processes.
- Share ideas for product iterations and technical improvements.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BE, BTech, ME, or MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
- Understanding of embedded systems and RTOS fundamentals.
- Completed coursework in Operating Systems.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with virtualization, board-level software development, or corporate software development environments is considered an asset.
