About the role#
Aptera Motors is seeking a creative intern to produce original photo and video content for our social media channels. You will document vehicle shoots and behind-the-scenes factory footage while helping to build our social audience through engaging posts and stories.
What you'll do#
- Shoot and edit photo and video content of Aptera vehicles, production milestones, team members, and events.
- Create short-form content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Draft copy and schedule posts across Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Maintain a content calendar and assist in executing the broader social media strategy.
- Build and manage a media asset library of photos, b-roll, and finished edits.
- Track performance metrics and share insights on audience engagement.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio demonstrating your photo, video, and social media work.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Lightroom.
- A genuine interest in electric vehicles, clean technology, or the future of transportation.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Journalism.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Carlsbad, California.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
