2026 Sophomore Summer Analyst, Engineering

About the role#

The 2026 Sophomore Summer Analyst program is a 10-week opportunity for students to join the Innovation team. Analysts will work alongside junior and senior professionals to support the firm's investment strategies, streamline business workflows, and develop end-to-end technological solutions.

What you'll do#

• Partner with investment professionals and cross-functional technology teams to build efficient business workflows.
• Research, develop, and implement streamlined technologies across all business lines.
• Serve as an innovation liaison for key stakeholders, leaders, subject matter experts, and external parties.
• Facilitate discovery efforts, including smart experiments and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and remove roadblocks to project delivery.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Class of 2028) in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with REST or GraphQL.
• Demonstrated interest in finance and technology through coursework, jobs, or previous internships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to debug, problem-solve, and learn new analytical tools.

• Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 base salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
