About the role#
We are looking for engineers to join our Sensors team. You will work alongside our engineering staff on spacecraft sensor systems. We assign each intern a specific project to provide real impact, supported by a dedicated mentor and regular learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design, prototyping, build, and test of spacecraft sensor systems.
- Develop mechatronic systems.
- Gain hands-on prototyping experience with space hardware and ground support equipment.
- Work on manufacturing and process automation.
- Learn how various satellite sensors function.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS or MS in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or Applied Physics.
- Expected graduation date in the Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.
- Proficiency in the engineering design process.
- Familiarity with mechatronics, controllers, actuators, or development MCUs like Arduino.
- At least 3 months of experience applying technical skills outside the classroom, such as in laboratories, research, personal projects, or project teams like rocketry or CubeSat.
- A self-motivated approach to learning in a collaborative environment.

- Compensation: $45 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship (10 to 12 weeks).
