About the role#
We are looking for engineers to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside our engineering staff to solve complex technical challenges. We provide a mentor to guide your progress and offer learning sessions to help you build your aerospace knowledge. You will also complete an assigned project intended to make a real impact on our mission.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of Comet XL and Comet Mini deployable structures.
- Take ownership of specific engineering tasks.
- Participate in team learning sessions.
- Complete a project that provides meaningful contributions to our spacecraft programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Graduation date in the Spring or Fall of 2027.
- Extensive experience using CAD software, specifically NX.
- Prior hands-on experience building electromechanical systems and soft goods.
