About the role#
We are looking for engineers to join our avionics team for a 12-week internship. You will work alongside our engineering staff to support spacecraft development. We assign each intern a specific project to ensure you have a real impact on our mission. You will receive guidance from a dedicated mentor and participate in learning sessions to build your knowledge of aerospace systems.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to spacecraft avionics and testing from initial design through validation.
- Design and simulate circuits for our spacecraft platforms.
- Lay out PCBs and bring boards up for flight hardware.
- Learn about radiation environments and spacecraft subsystems.
- Work on an assigned project that contributes to our current spacecraft programs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Graduation date in the Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.
- Proficiency in tools for PCB design, circuit design, and simulation.
- At least 3 months of experience applying technical skills outside of the classroom, such as through research, personal projects, or team competitions.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
