About the role#
As a Summer Research Professional Intern, you will work on complex business problems in a collaborative environment. Interns may work on multiple projects simultaneously across various practice areas and industries. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. At the end of the program, interns are evaluated for a full-time Research Professional offer.
What you'll do#
- Develop data-driven models to address economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, and Python.
- Conduct qualitative research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials.
- Synthesize research findings to inform case strategy.
- Assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda.
- Prepare materials for client and case team meetings.
- Engage with colleagues at all levels and interact directly with clients.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A strong academic track record with a minimum 3.3 GPA.
- Quantitative and research skills, including analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- English proficiency is required due to regular interactions with international clients and experts.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.

- This position is based on-site in either Montreal, Quebec, or Toronto, Ontario.
- This is a full-time role.
