About the role#
As a Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst Intern, you will join the First Mile Business Process team within Amway's Global Trade and Logistics organization. You will work as a bridge between business and technology, partnering with engineering, analytics, and operational groups to improve supply chain processes. Your work will focus on enhancing visibility and driving data-based decision making for our global logistics operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze logistics and operational processes to find efficiency opportunities and streamline workflows.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Assist with data validation, visualization, and performance measurement.
- Partner with business and technical teams to support digital transformation and process modernization.
- Document requirements, test solutions, and support the implementation of new tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with a graduation date between December 2028 and April 2030.
- Completion of your freshman or sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL skills.
- Experience with process mapping, documentation, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, and Claude is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with an attention to detail.
- A curiosity-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- The ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship located in Ada, Michigan.
- The role is on-site Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
