About the role#
The Office of Undergraduate Enrollment is hiring a Student Assistant to provide administrative and analytical support. You will help the business team track travel expenses, ensure policy compliance, and manage recruitment inventory. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track travel expenses for recruitment activities.
- Verify that travel data aligns with university policies and flag any discrepancies.
- Manage inventory records for recruitment materials.
- Coordinate orders for supplies and promotional items.
- Handle general office tasks like filing, data entry, and preparing documents.
- Respond to inquiries and assist the recruitment team in meeting operational deadlines.

- Current enrollment as a student at American University.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively.
