About the role#
The International Admissions Assistant position is open to currently enrolled American University students. This part-time role involves supporting the admissions team with daily operations, data analysis, and student communication. It is an on-site position based at the Spring Valley Campus in Washington, DC.
What you'll do#
- Respond to high volumes of email inquiries using provided FAQ templates.
- Analyze applicant data to verify if requirements are met.
- Review documents from students and counselors for accuracy and authenticity.
- Complete special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an American University student.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Critical thinking and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- An interest in international education and admissions is preferred.
- Two years of availability is preferred.

- Location: Spring Valley Campus, Washington, DC.
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $18.40 - $19.00 per hour.
