About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment. You will gain exposure to several areas of the business, including mining, quality control, environmental compliance, warehousing, and production. The primary focus of this role is supporting maintenance and electrical operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the maintenance and electrical teams with daily activities and supervised projects.
- Learn about equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
- Support operations across production, mining, quality, environmental, and warehouse functions.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training.
- Maintain accurate documentation for projects, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Complete a final project or presentation based on your internship experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a technical, electrical, maintenance, engineering, or related program.
- An interest in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or electrical systems.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and work safely in an industrial setting.
- Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the position.
