About the role#
We are looking for a motivated Accounting & Finance Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in various financial functions and includes participation in technology-driven transformation projects. This is a full-time, paid internship with a duration of 10 to 12 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and databases.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in the reconciliation of accounts.
- Conduct data analysis and assist with budgeting activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site in Columbus or Canton, Ohio.
- A $1,500 monthly housing stipend may be available for those moving more than 45 miles from their home address.
- Pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, commensurate with education hours.
