About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will work on-site five days a week. This role focuses on using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create and update technical drawings and equipment documents. You will build a foundation for your career in engineering design while working with our team.
What you'll do#
- Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings, sketches, and records.
- Support the maintenance of facilities and equipment documentation, including construction and property records.
- Use CAD software, including AutoCAD Electrical, Civil3D, Inventor, and Vault.
- Perform mathematical calculations to complete assigned tasks.
- Gather information from field notes, site visits, technical manuals, and vendor catalogs.
- Read and interpret vendor prints, shop drawings, and equipment operating instructions.
- Use Microsoft Office software.
- Maintain ethical standards according to company policy.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You have completed at least one year toward an associate degree in drafting, CAD, or a related field like civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering technology.
- Your graduation date is December 2027 or later.
- You maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You are familiar with conventional drafting symbols and methods.
- You can distinguish colors.
