About the role#
This co-op position supports the daily operations of the Sustainability, Community, and Inclusion (SCI) team at Ameren. The role involves rotating responsibilities across these three departments, providing exposure to ESG research, inclusive engagement initiatives, and community outreach. You will work on-site at Ameren headquarters and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Assist with ESG benchmarking, research, and voluntary reporting support.
- Upgrade and maintain the inclusive engagement team webpage and SharePoint site.
- Support inclusive engagement efforts through employee and community outreach programs.
- Collect and distill post-grant and post-sponsorship data to support nonprofit partner relationships and corporate fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate on equity projects and contribute to editorial content and data visualization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred fields of study include Human Resources, Sociology, Marketing, Data Science, Environmental Engineering, or Public Health.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
- Experience writing for digital channels such as blogs or professional social media accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel for data and chart creation.
