About the role#
This is a full-time internship opportunity within the Ameren Supply Chain team. You will work alongside a mentor to gain hands-on experience in procurement, quality management, and inventory processes. Interns are expected to complete a key project deliverable and present their findings to executives at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing processes, transformation initiatives, and category management.
- Develop should-cost financial and economic models.
- Assist in request for proposal development and analysis.
- Gather data for demand planning and process improvements.
- Assist in inventory and material processes.
- Participate in Supply Chain Group meetings and contribute to service goals.
What you'll need#
- Current student status in a business or technical program.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Basic understanding of analytical and statistical approaches to problem solving.
- Financial accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Term: Winter 2027 to Summer 2027 (January through August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour.
