About the role#
Altom Transport is seeking a Software Development Intern to support operations, billing, and application development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in software development within the transportation and logistics industry by working on tools that directly impact business success.
What you'll do#
- Assist in building and optimizing internal applications to support business operations.
- Collaborate with billing and operations teams to develop tools that streamline processes.
- Improve mobile and web applications used by customers and staff.
- Work with the IT team to troubleshoot, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Manage API integrations, database tasks, and system automation.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages.
- Knowledge of database management, such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

- Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability.
