About the role#
As an Insurance Consulting Intern, you will join our Toronto office for a 10-week summer program. You will work in teams to identify and implement business and technology solutions for insurance clients. This role offers hands-on experience through exposure to senior management teams and internal initiatives. You will receive an initial three-day training program covering consulting skills, project management, and industry knowledge. Throughout the summer, you will have a senior mentor and an Alpha Buddy to support your integration and professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Follow project delivery plans to produce accurate, complete, and timely work.
- Assist in the creation of client deliverables by facilitating meetings and workshops.
- Perform data analysis in Excel and create effective content in PowerPoint.
- Develop relationships with clients and vendors as a professional point of contact.
- Contribute to the wider Alpha community by participating in business management or practice areas.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or non-MBA master's student graduating between September 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements, workshops, and team events.
- Availability for the full duration of the internship from June 14, 2027, to August 20, 2027.

- Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation of approximately 3 days per week in-office.
