About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Princeton, Illinois. You will work on-site with our Maintenance Team to improve facility documentation and organization.
What you'll do#
- Layout and relabel main electrical cabinets throughout the facility.
- Use AutoCAD to add a layer to our plant layout that identifies the location of all electrical panels and I-lines.
- Verify and label every electrical panel.
- Build an Excel file with hyperlinks for each panel to track power supply, amp ratings, and equipment points of use.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas using 5S standards.
- Perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner while following safety regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Equipment Maintenance, or Engineering.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and general electrical knowledge.
- Basic math, computer, and measuring skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- General knowledge of machinery.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, schedules, and procedures.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate industrial powered equipment within manufacturer guidelines.
