About the role#
Aliaxis is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Co-Op student to join the team in Oakville for the Winter 2027 term. This position offers hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, where you will work alongside IT, engineering, and manufacturing teams to drive performance improvements through data.
What you'll do#
- Work with data from multiple sources to optimize pipelines for reporting and business intelligence.
- Improve and maintain Power BI reports to increase performance and usability.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering and IT teams to design and implement efficient data collection and modeling.
- Create user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Power BI.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to apply business intelligence to operational challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Understanding of data visualization principles and data engineering concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oakville, Ontario.
- The role operates on a Monday through Friday day shift.
- The hourly wage starts at $24.50.
- This is a paid co-op position.
