District Manager Intern

About the role#

The District Manager Intern program is a 10-week, full-time summer internship based in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside district managers to learn the operations of a retail business. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities upon graduation.

What you'll do#

• Shadow store managers and manager trainees to learn fundamental store operations, including payroll, invoices, and hiring processes.
• Assist with inventory management, store resets, and store openings.
• Learn the components of the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid through store tours and customer walks.
• Prepare and present a report on an operational area to company executives.
• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to build subject matter expertise and improve store conditions.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under strict deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport, trust, and open communication with store personnel.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies.

• Term: Summer 2026 (10-week program).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $28.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime.
