About the role#
Albertsons Companies is hiring a Pharmacy Student Intern to gain hands-on practice in a retail pharmacy setting. This position is open to students currently enrolled in a professional pharmacy program who want to build relationships with patients and contribute to community health.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Process prescription orders in compliance with all laws and company procedures.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers regarding drug therapy and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, and patient counseling.
- Implement company initiatives to support pharmacy operations and profitability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work priorities.
- Strong cooperation skills to work effectively as part of a team.
