About the role#
Ag Leader Technology is looking for an Electronic Design Intern to join the Precision Ag Electronics Design Team. You will work on electronic designs that interface with agricultural equipment. This role focuses on testing and evaluating new designs to meet real-world requirements, including power conditions, electromagnetic interference, and electrostatic discharge. You will help move designs from initial concepts to production.
What you'll do#
- Run performance tests using electronic tools and software.
- Work alongside engineers to troubleshoot and fix design deficiencies.
- Investigate electronic systems when you encounter unexpected results.
- Document your findings and share concerns with the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A solid understanding of electronic circuits.
- Experience with test equipment like multimeters.
- A strong desire to learn and get to the root cause of technical issues.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Ames, Iowa.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
