About the role#
As a Project Controls Co-op, you will support the project controls team in tracking, analyzing, and reporting project performance for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project. This role provides exposure to cost control, scheduling, and risk management within a large-scale infrastructure environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Support the preparation and analysis of cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Help maintain project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and risk registers.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures.
- Perform data entry, organization, and visualization using Excel or Power BI.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and status updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coursework or previous experience in project management or project controls.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, reporting cycles, and stakeholder expectations under tight timelines.

- Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
