About the role#
This co-op position is based in the Ohsweken office as part of the Aecon General Partnership with Six Nations. You will report to the Office Manager and assist with daily administrative and coordination tasks for the Utilities team. This is a 4-month opportunity that involves working both in the office and coordinating with field staff.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to the Utilities team.
- Maintain project files, documentation, and correspondence.
- Enter, track, and report on project data.
- Coordinate schedules between office teams and field staff.
- Prepare presentations, internal communications, and reports.
- Track project progress, costs, and productivity.
- Manage logistics and materials as needed.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation.
- Perform general office duties and ad-hoc tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Business or Administration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proactive and self-motivated work style.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- An interest in construction, utilities, or infrastructure is an asset.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset.
