This is a part-time student employee position within the Department of Academic Public Health Sciences at Wake Forest University Health Sciences. The role supports the DISCOVERY study under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Jensen. This position is paid and operates on an on-site basis.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the recruitment and retention of study participants.
- Perform general office activities to support departmental operations.
- Organize work activities to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Create and maintain accurate filing and record systems.
- Resolve problems to improve customer service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a high school student (at least grade 11) or college student.
- Preferred majors include Public Health, Health Administration, or Communications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer terminals.
Location & details#
- Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling.
