About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within a central planning team at Adient. You will work on-site at our Plymouth, Michigan facility, supporting our North American manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage our domestic and international supply base.
- Track and manage supplier delivery performance.
- Support master data management adherence activities.
- Participate in demand and supply plan reviews.
- Assist with capacity studies and perform analysis as needed.
- Report on supply plan KPIs related to supplier management.
- Work with purchasing, execution, planning, and operations teams to maintain raw material supply.
- Help standardize processes across the region.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow up on tasks.
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
