About the role#
Accurus Aerospace Corporation is hiring an intern for Quality Control and CMM Operations. This role supports our manufacturing of aerostructures for commercial and defense customers. You will work on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in a role that requires ITAR compliance. This means you must be a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain engineering workbooks for metallic machined details.
- Develop detailed graphics, technical documentation, and work instructions using design software.
- Inspect manufactured parts using precision measurement tools and CMM equipment.
- Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Follow safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree program.
- Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints and sketches.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment like mics, calipers, and height gauges.
- Advanced math proficiency demonstrated through coursework.
Location & details#
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Schedule: This is an on-site, full-time position with a rolling term.
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a manufacturing shop environment with noise and temperature variations.
