About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Accelevation, you will work on the design and development of low-voltage power distribution equipment. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support projects related to switchboards, power distribution units, and transfer switch systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of low-voltage power distribution equipment and electrical assemblies.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address production challenges and improve product quality.
- Conduct engineering research, data analysis, and technical evaluations to support product enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least three years of undergraduate study prior to the start of the internship.
- Strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated interest in electrical power systems, power distribution, or product engineering.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
