About the role#
AbelCine is looking for interns to join our Rental department for the Fall 2026 term. This internship offers students a chance to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting and gain insight into the production industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn the rental process, covering everything from the initial quote to final check-in.
- Gain hands-on experience with camera equipment.
- Work alongside ACs on the checkout floor.
- Develop the skills needed to rent and prep gear for your own future film projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a two or four-year accredited college program.
- Ability to commit to at least 16 hours per week.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Dependability and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Good communication and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- Written verification from your school confirming you will receive college credit for this internship.

- This role is located in Brooklyn, New York.
- The position is on-site and part-time.
- This is an unpaid internship for college credit only.
