About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship focused on nonprofit audit work. You will perform professional audit tasks under general supervision, working with a variety of nonprofit clients. The term runs from January 2027 through mid-April 2027. Successful completion of this internship may lead to full-time employment opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare workpapers in accordance with firm and audit standards.
- Communicate with clients on-site, by phone, and via email to gather accurate information.
- Draft, foot, and proof financial statements, audit reports, and other engagement documents.
- Perform analytical and detailed data work with high efficiency and accuracy.
- Report and release billable and non-billable time on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of Intermediate Accounting I is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Edina, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. Interns are expected to work at least three days per week in the office or at client sites.
- Compensation: $27 per hour.
