About the role#
The Production Support Intern will assist the production team by executing and coordinating essential preparation tasks. Reporting to the Production Engineer, this role focuses on analyzing work sectors to improve manufacturing processes, methods, and performance verification standards.
What you'll do#
- Draft and improve assembly instructions for various production areas.
- Create technical drawings of work areas.
- Develop job aids to support assembly and wiring technicians.
- Optimize cutting, structuring, and wiring sectors, including wire-bundling methods for mounting plates.
- Establish Kanban systems for wire, conduits, and consumable production goods.
- Define clear acceptance criteria for manufacturing processes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Professional proficiency in both French and English.
- Experience with Excel scripting and knowledge of electrical standards (such as ANSI, CSA, IEEE, or UL) are considered assets.
