About the role#
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will work within the Measurement & Analytics business segment in Quebec. You will report to the Production Engineering Supervisor and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing cells. Your work will focus on optimizing tools and processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and ensure production deadlines are met.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations to ensure on-time deliveries that meet quality standards.
- Act as a technical resource for industrial engineering tasks.
- Propose and implement improvement ideas within your area of expertise.
- Collaborate with process specialists on production optimization projects.
- Participate in problem analysis and the implementation of corrective actions with continuous improvement teams.
- Contribute to the development and updating of maintenance plans for production equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering program.
- A strong focus on Industrial Engineering principles.
- Ability to optimize tools and production processes.
- Experience or interest in participating in problem analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively on production optimization projects.
- Ability to contribute to the development of maintenance plans.
