Application Engineering Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

As an Application Engineering Intern for Fall 2026, you will gain practical experience by supporting automation projects. You will work directly with the engineering team to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automation systems while enhancing your technical skills.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the application engineering team to design automation systems.
• Assist in the development and testing of automation software.
• Help with the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Support the creation of technical sales demonstrations, documentation, and user manuals.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Manage department equipment and participate in product inventories.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
• Ability to analyze complex situations using critical thinking skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

• Compensation: $20 - $34 per hour.
