About the role#
617MediaGroup is hiring an A/V Production Intern to join our team. This is a paid, part-time position for students or graduates in Media Studies. You will gain production and post-production experience while supporting social justice causes and campaigns. We require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Document major social movements, labor rallies, marches, and personal stories through photography, videography, and audio recording.
- Edit video content for client review in a quick and efficient manner.
- Work with production and account staff to maintain file management and project organization.
What you'll need#
- Experience filming public events and editing footage into a finished product.
- Proficiency with standard videography and photography equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A flexible schedule that allows for occasional night and weekend work.
- A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle with a valid inspection sticker.
