About the role#
The Accounting Intern will handle general accounting tasks for assigned entities within the 3CDC portfolio. This portfolio includes over 100 entities across operating, development, and lending stages. You will perform entry-level work similar to first-year staff and report directly to a Senior Accountant.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accounting records based on company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Enter accounts payable and receivable data.
- Prepare general ledger entries.
- Complete account reconciliations and asset operating summaries.
- Assist with the preparation of semi-annual financial statements and variance analysis.
- Respond to inquiries regarding accounting data and project reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an accounting major with sophomore, junior, or senior status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term.
- The role is based on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio.
