About the role#
The IT Infrastructure Intern will work on a rotational basis across various sub-teams to support the enterprise, including Client Services and Network/System operations. You will work cross-functionally with infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to gain exposure to different areas of the IT function throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure support, solutions, and project actions are resolved.
- Research and test new hardware and software solutions.
- Learn and evaluate existing compute, storage, network, and voice systems.
- Identify areas for improvement based on current and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to configuring and deploying new solutions.
- Monitor and analyze system and network performance.
- Implement measures to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with Copilot or other AI tools and agents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
