About the role#
Zipline is looking for a Video Production and Social Media intern to join our Communications team. You will support our film and social media projects, helping us tell our story as we expand our global presence. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside senior leaders in communications and marketing. You will be a key part of a small team that builds and protects our brand.
What you'll do#
- Assist in building and executing strategic communications campaigns.
- Serve as a production assistant during video shoots, including location scouting, gathering props, and managing logistics.
- Lead the cataloging and organization of video assets and footage.
- Track and collect performance data to support social media analytics.
- Monitor trends to help inform our content strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with our Marketing, Brand, Customer Success, and Community Engagement teams.
- Pitch video and content ideas while supporting the team with daily tasks like writing and event support.
What you'll need#
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, social media, or film.
- Strong project management, logistics, and research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and writing skills.
- Familiarity with camera operation or audio equipment.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
- Bonus points for proficiency in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci, video coloring, or experience with gaffing and grip work.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
- The term runs from January 2027 through April 2027.
- This position is paid at $34 per hour.
- Zipline is unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
