About the role#
Every Zipline market grows differently. Customer behavior, local opportunities, and commercial priorities vary from city to city. As a Commercial Strategy & Operations Intern, you will help turn these local realities into clear priorities, better decisions, and measurable growth. You will work with data, build analyses, and help ensure cross-functional teams stay aligned on the work that matters most. This role offers hands-on experience solving ambiguous problems and translating insights into action.
What you'll do#
- Support weekly and monthly business reviews by analyzing performance and turning findings into actions.
- Build and maintain reporting on key customer, merchant, commercial, and operational metrics.
- Analyze customer behavior, merchant performance, market trends, and operational data.
- Help develop business cases, forecasts, and recommendations for growth initiatives.
- Own a defined commercial strategy or operations project from problem framing through implementation.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the second year of a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently travel to operational sites.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Locations: Austin, Texas; Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; San Antonio, Texas.
