About the role#
As a Brand Intern at Zeno Group, you will support integrated communications programs for consumer brands. You will work alongside account teams to gain hands-on experience in research, media relations, content development, and events. This role helps you build foundational communications skills and learn how integrated campaigns come to life.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on brands, competitors, consumer behaviors, and cultural trends to support client programs.
- Support earned media efforts by researching journalists, building media lists, and monitoring coverage.
- Draft materials such as pitches, press releases, fact sheets, and briefing documents.
- Contribute to social media and digital content by identifying trends and creating communications.
- Assist with integrated campaigns and brand activations by coordinating logistics and supporting on-site execution.
- Partner with account teams to maintain project materials and keep programs organized.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in public relations, marketing, or related fields.
- Curiosity about consumer behavior, culture, and trends.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work collaboratively.
- Students or graduates in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, Psychology, or Sociology are encouraged to apply.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position follows a rolling term.
