About the role#
Zachry Group offers a Summer Engineering Internship Program for university students in an EPC environment. You will work directly with experienced engineers, designers, and project teams to develop solutions for complex industrial facilities. This role provides hands-on exposure to engineering, construction, and project execution workflows. You will gain experience in power generation, energy transition, and industrial manufacturing projects while building your professional engineering identity.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and analysis of piping systems, rotating equipment, and thermal systems.
- Assist in the development of engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support FEED and detailed design efforts.
- Participate in problem solving for plant operations, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Gain mentorship from engineers working across the full project lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- An interest in leadership and personal development opportunities.
- A willingness to relocate for both the internship and future full-time opportunities.
