About the role#
Zachry Group is hiring an Engineering Summer Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Omaha, Nebraska. You will work on routine engineering and construction tasks while gaining exposure to daily project operations. Beyond technical work, you will have opportunities to develop soft skills and take on leadership roles.
What you'll do#
- Complete department tasks under the direction of an assigned supervisor.
- Perform discipline-specific calculations and coding.
- Assist technical service personnel with the execution of drawings.
- Support discipline-specific tasks for proposal work.
- Work on other miscellaneous projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Engineering program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
- Junior or Senior classification is preferred.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- An interest in leadership and personal development.
- Willingness to relocate for this internship and future full-time opportunities.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work environment: Office setting.
- Physical demands: You will communicate in person, by telephone, and by email. The role requires manual dexterity and coordination for daily office tasks.
