About the role#
The NC Civic Fellowship Program offers students an opportunity to engage in nonpartisan civic action. Fellows work directly with teams of students to increase voter participation and civic awareness for the 2026 elections. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with student teams on civic projects.
- Educate students on their rights and how to make their voices heard.
- Mobilize students to participate in the 2026 elections.
- Assist with voter mobilization efforts and outreach.
- Participate in required training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college, university, or community college in North Carolina.
- Ability to commit up to 10 hours per week.
- Interest in fields such as Political Science, Public Health, Sociology, Communications, or History.
- Understanding of ballot casting procedures.
- Commitment to nonpartisan project involvement.

- Location: Greensboro, NC (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 10, 2026 – November 20, 2026).
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
