About the role#
The NC Civic Fellowship Program offers students the opportunity to engage in nonpartisan work to support voter participation for the 2026 elections. Fellows collaborate with student teams to encourage civic action and ensure peers are informed about their voting rights.
What you'll do#
- Work with student teams on nonpartisan projects.
- Educate and mobilize students to participate in elections.
- Help students understand their rights regarding the voting process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at a college, university, or community college in North Carolina.
- A strong interest in civic action and voter mobilization.
- Ability to commit up to 10 hours per week.

- Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 10, 2026, to November 20, 2026).
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
