Truck Driver Student

About the role#

As a Truck Driver Student, you will participate in a training program designed to help you obtain your CDL-A and gain practical experience as an LTL Driver. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Louisville, Kentucky. You will work under supervision to learn the essential functions of professional driving and freight handling.

What you'll do#

• Attend training sessions to obtain a CDL-A license.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform vehicle inspections required by FMCSR under supervision.
• Load and unload freight using a forklift as needed.
• Verify and complete all required documentation and reports.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and DOT regulations.

What you'll need#

• Minimum age of 21.
• A valid state-issued driver's license held for at least 12 months.
• A CDL-A permit by the first day of class.
• A safe driving record and history.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test.
• Preferred background in Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or Industrial Engineering.
