About the role#
This is a long-term internship within the Operation Technology (OT) Converged Support organization. You will gain exposure to North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliance requirements. You will work with Data Center Services, specifically in compute and converged support. This role requires a commitment of at least 18 months, with a start date of May 31, 2027. You will work 20 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Develop skills for OT areas and CIP documentation to meet compliance requirements.
- Learn OT infrastructure and provide support as assigned.
- Assist the team with On-Prem ServiceNow (OP-SNOW) ticket assignments following Change Management standards.
- Stay focused on existing assignments while learning new processes and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current student with sophomore status or higher as of Fall 2027.
- Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, engineering, mathematics, analytics, or business.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Graduation date must occur after the internship completion date.
- Experience with SharePoint, Windows, Linux, VMware, or project management is desired.
- An interest in security, compliance, and networking.

- Compensation: $20.90 to $22.10 per hour.
