    About the role#

    As a Retirement Actuarial Intern, you will work with consulting teams to help global organizations manage and optimize their employee retirement benefits. You will gain exposure to real client assignments, helping to design, fund, invest, communicate, and govern retirement plans. This role allows you to apply your academic background to solve intellectual business challenges while working alongside experienced consultants.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with teams to improve the effectiveness of employee retirement benefits.
    • Analyze data to draw conclusions and present results for client assignments.
    • Support the design, funding, and governance of defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
    • Apply university knowledge to address real-world business problems.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, public health, health administration, or actuarial science.
    • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
    • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
    • For actuarial students, completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
    • Ability to work legally in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is a paid, full-time internship with a compensation range of $28-$35 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.
    • The role follows a hybrid work model. You must live within a commutable distance to one of our office locations in New York, NY; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; or Short Hills, NJ.
