About the role#
The Actuarial Delivery Group (ADG) at WTW focuses on operational excellence and systems expertise within the North American Retirement business. As an intern, you will join client teams to support retirement plans, including Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution arrangements. This role provides exposure to actuarial work and special projects, allowing you to apply your university studies to real-world business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Perform actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports.
- Conduct data analysis and reconciliations of pension plan participant data.
- Calculate pension benefits using spreadsheets or proprietary software.
- Prepare government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements.
- Participate in company training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related quantitative fields.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Current standing as at least a college sophomore.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work legally in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

- Compensation: $20-$27 per hour, with eligibility for overtime.
