About the role#
This is a full-time Power Distribution Design Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will join the WSP Summer Internship Program, a 12-week experience designed to provide hands-on work on real projects. You will work alongside senior staff and participate in mentorship and networking opportunities through the Developing Professionals Network.
What you'll do#
- Execute projects under the direction of leadership, managers, and mentors.
- Gain exposure to professional engineering projects.
- Interact with engineering and non-engineering audiences to express ideas.
- Apply technical writing skills and use office software and tools.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A demonstrated interest in Civil Engineering and a desire to advance your skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies regarding health, safety, and conduct.
- Prior internship or campus leadership experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is on-site.
- Locations include Cottonwood Heights, Utah, or Meridian, Idaho.
- The program is scheduled to begin on May 17, 2027, though individual start dates may be flexible.
