About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Power and Energy Team. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside senior staff on real projects. This 12-week program begins on May 17, 2027. Please note that no relocation or housing assistance is provided for this position.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering tasks to build technical and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Help prepare final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete assigned training modules.
- Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and all safety, health, and drug policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Interest in Electrical Engineering and a desire to advance your skills.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to take direction from managers and mentors.
- A proven track record of maintaining workplace safety.
- Enrollment in a Masters or PhD program and prior internship or campus leadership experience are preferred.
