About the role#
WSP is hiring a Construction Management Intern for the Summer 2027 program in Chicago. This is a full-time, 12-week position starting May 17, 2027. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects to build your technical and professional skills. Please note that this role does not offer relocation or housing assistance.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to build technical and ethical skills.
- Learn the principles of Program and Construction Management.
- Assist with field work, project research, and preliminary design analysis.
- Help prepare cost estimates, special provisions, and final design plans.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete assigned training modules.
- Follow company policies, including the Code of Conduct.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, masters, or PhD program in Construction Management or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Software Suite and Bluebeam Revu.
- Experience with technical writing and office software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction from project leadership.
- A history of prioritizing workplace safety.
- Prior leadership experience on campus or previous internship experience.

- Compensation: $19 to $30 per hour.
